In my household at this moment a daughter and husband are sleeping, and two daughters reading. Around the world babies are being born, people are voting, drivers are speeding, and students are counting down the days until classes begin.
People are talking on cell phones, baking cookies, making copies, drilling holes in walls, sitting on buses, waiting in line, drinking tea, getting sick, dancing, writing, falling, writing, taking pills, and washing dishes.
It's amazing that with all the activities around the world simultaneously happening, I've drawn a blank on what to write about, AND whether I have anything really to say. I should just go back to my world, the day I've just lived through and do a little checking into what made it so special.
Maybe....
- lunch with my husband
- encouraging conversation with my parnets
- laughing and being silly with my girls
- sunshine after a quick summer rain shower
- fellowship around the dinner table
I must pay more attention to the world around me.
