Why Lord?

I have a mental game of self-pity I play with the Lord. If spoken aloud it would sound like whining. I hate whining. I never tolerated whining from my girls, yet recently I've noticed my prayers have turned to whining. I'm always asking WHY?

Why this now?

Why can't that be different?

Help me Lord to understand, to be patient, to wait on YOU.
