REST...Cease Striving

Thinking this morning of how much I am loved by God. How much and yet…so undeserved.

Psalm 46:10 (NASB) speaks to me…. "Cease striving and know that I am God…"

That quiets my soul. I am humbled at the mere thought of how I am loved, cared, adored, and chosen by God.

John 10:14 (NASB) "I am the good shepherd, and I know My own and My own know Me…"

I am known by God Almighty…

But I have chosen the way of disobedience, of selfishness, and hard heartedness…

Jeremiah 6: 16,17 "This is what the LORD says: "Stand at the crossroads and look;
ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it,
and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, 'We will not walk in it.'

I appointed watchmen over you and said, 'Listen to the sound of the trumpet!'
But you said, 'We will not listen.'

….soften my heart, Oh Lord
