What is the name of this place? I call it sanctuary.
Webster's defines Sanctuary this way:
A sacred, holy place, as the part of the church, where services are held; a safe place; a refuge.
We meet to read, discuss, contemplate, and enjoy God's Word and instruction. We meet to examine, challenge, and encourage each other. She and I journey together to this wonderful land often but never long enough. Each time we come to an end in our time, we are left with even more questions, joy, laughter, and work than when we had arrived. IT IS AWESOME!
My Creator,
In relationship with my sisters in Christ, " LORD, prepare me to be a sanctuary. Pure and Holy. Tried and True. With thanksgiving I'll be a living sanctuary for you."
With whom do you share your journey? Contemplate your destination- is it holy and pleasing to God? Do you leave encouraged, challenged, and gratefully with more work to be done? Is it AWESOME?

Oh, the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person; having neither to weigh thoughts no measure words, but pour them all out, as they are, chaff and grain together, knowing that a faithful hand will take and sift them, keep what is worth keeping, and then, with the breath of kindness, blow the rest away.
