Dark night of the soul...

Have you trembled under the weight of God's touch and wept at the wonder of His magnificence?

Have you learned what it means to wander through the wilderness where God's presence came at last like a refreshing oasis in a dry and weary land?

Have you lived through a dark night of the soul when no matter what you did or how you cried out to God, you could not feel his touch or hear His voice for months on end?

. . .yet still the LORD has been faithful, for through all of this my heart has grown to want to know Him more.
