What effect should regular Bible study have on my life?
God doesn't ask for obedience so that we can complete a list of do's and don'ts, but He gives wisdom to discern His will as we face challenges and circumstances that overwhelm us.
'...be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect'
That our love '...may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent'
That we '...may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God'
