Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your Kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Thank you God for descending Jesus to walk among us, to breath, and hunger, and be tempted, and cursed, and physically harmed, and hated, and made fun of, and abandoned by friends. For going before us and showing us how to live in this distant land: forgiving, quiet, even, humble, focussed, merciful, content, generous, accompanied, inspired,. . . Thank you for His death on the cross, forsaking Him so that you could also hold me forever.
